RESIN TYPE
Cashew modified phenol novolac resin in powder with hexamine.
APPLICATION
JL 2123 is a phenol novolac resin modified with cashew nut shell liquid. Blended with a wide variety of fillers such as steel fiber, barytes,alumina,metals in powder,etc,it is used as a binder in the production of friction materials with require excellent friction and wear resisitance.
PROPERTIES
Melting Point 100～108℃
Cure time at 150℃ 60～90sec.
Hexamine 8.5～9.5％
Free Phenol <3％
Screen analysis(200 mesh passed) 99％
STORAGE
The resin should be usable for at least 6 months if kept in sealed containers under cool(preterably < 20％),dry conditions.
